Worship and Sacraments

Worship

Our Sunday worship is the celebration of the Holy Eucharist also called the Mass. Our Sunday mass has music, scripture, and communion. From September through Memorial Day, our choir leads the music. The focus of our worship is Holy Communion where all baptized Christians are welcome to receive the Body and Blood of Christ regardless of denomination.

Beginning May 31, said mass will be offered on Wednesday nights at 7pm. This mass will be without music and focus will be on the particular saint of the day.

Sacraments

In the Episcopal Church, we celebrate 7 Sacraments. The seven sacraments are: baptism, holy communion, confirmation, confession/penance/reconciliation, marriage, holy orders, and anointing of the sick (sometimes referred to as Last Rites, though you may receive the anointing of the sick many times without being near death). If you are interested in receiving any of the sacraments, please speak with Mother Gina in order to discern and plan the administration of the sacrament. As in the Episcopal Church, all are welcome to receive and participate in the sacraments.

Blessing of the Pets

On the first weekend in October, all pets are permitted to come and receive a blessing at the mass on Sunday. All are welcome regardless of species, breed, or denomination. If the pet would prefer to stay home for a wide variety of reasons, their human may bring a picture or object to be blessed in the absence of the pet.
